Young Teazer

The Young Teazer was an American privateer schooner captained by Fredrich Johnson.  While in Mahane Bay Nova Scotia, Captain Johnson was nearing capture.  Rather than be captured, the Captain and crew torched the ship and exploded the powder magazine killing all aboard.  A year later a burning ship was sighted and rescue ships were sent out to help.  Before rescue could be made, the ship vanished.  It's said that each June 27, the ship can been seen in the Bay with men in flames running around the decks in a panic.
