Jerusalem Bridge is located in Kingsville, MD on the outskirts of Gunpowder Falls State Park. Built between 1850-1860, the bridge spans across the Gunpowder River. In the 1970's, the bridge was rebuilt due to disrepair. The small town of Jerusalem was a Quaker village in the 18th and 19th centuries. There is a small mill located near the bridge which was a stop on the Underground Railroad. Slave owners would sometimes break into the mill, take the hiding slaves, and hang them on Jerusalem Bridge. In addition to the spirits of slaves, there is also an old woman who haunts the bridge.
