Phenomena:
While walking across the
bridge, Bridget, Carrie and Jamie were getting recordings, photos and EMF
readings. As we approached approximately halfway across the bridge, there
was a rumbling sound that seemed to crescendo as if something was moving towards
us from the opposite end of the bridge. We ran back to the vehicle waiting
to see what was coming across the bridge and nothing was there. The
following day we returned to the bridge to experiment with different walking
movements to determine if we could duplicate the noise. Nothing we did
created a loud enough sound. A car did drive over the bridge and that was
the same sound that was heard the night before. There was no car that
night, and the road can be seen from the bridge, any headlights would have been
noticed prior to a vehicle reaching the bridge.
