DeSales Heights

DeSales Heights is an old cloistered convent in Parkersburg, WV.  The story of the convent is a sad and horrifying tale of nuns taken from their only home, and having to watch as coffins of their fellow nuns were taken from the catacombs and transported by pick up truck.  Check out these photos taken by Kelly.

Sadly, DeSales Heights is currently being torn down.  We are thankful that Kelly was able to explore and photograph the building before its walls came tumbling down.
